We are looking for an experienced retail professional with a passion for craftsmanship and sustainability to manage our Marylebone boutique.

The successful applicant will be a confident, intelligent salesperson who enjoys working with customers and sharing their skills and knowledge to train and inspire colleagues. They will have an appreciation of creativity, strong leadership skills and an eye for detail alongside a desire to bring out the best in theirself and others at work and be an essential part in the growth and success of a small but long-established business.

The role includes

Managing the daily operations of the business, driving up turnover and ensuring sales targets are met

Developing customer relationships, looking after clients and their bespoke commissions or enquiries

Supporting marketing activities both in-store and via other media channels

Managing and developing the team – assigning duties and responsibilities to colleagues and directing them in daily operations, both customer facing and administration

Conducting recruitment and development of employees, identifying skills, training needs and opportunities

Ensuring adherence to company policies and ethos, security and health & safety protocols, supporting team wellbeing and creating a happy workplace

Stock management, including tracking and managing inventory and liaising with suppliers

This is a full-time position and includes Saturday working alongside occasional evenings and very occasional Sundays

Starting Salary from 28000 per annum depending on skills and experience

Skills required

Proven relevant experience at senior retail or retail management level in a luxury, design-led context

Demonstrated ability to train and support employees and be an effective salesperson

Strong customer service, management and organisational skills

Ideally a background knowledge of jewellery, goldsmithing and precious materials

Awareness and experience developing and implementing responsible and fair working practices

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Familiarity and experience working with major social media platforms

Competency with general office-based software: Excel, Word, Outlook, Sage 50 and simple image creation and editing
