Does Luxury Still Count?
Does Luxury Still Count is a special "in conversation" event on 13 September for the London Design Festival exploring the nature of luxury.
Tony and Rachel will be joined by Lorna Watson, founder of traceable artisan-made bag brand STELAR and host Mimma Viglezio, Creative Consultant, broadcaster and Editor of Show Studio.
We will be sharing an insight into what motivates and makes us tick, talk about our common values and explore how an original desire to create beautiful objects has led us to a new, more transparent approach that reveals the provenance of our materials, sustains traditional craft skills and gives our customers the ability to connect with the people, processes and artistry involved in the pieces they commission and purchase.
We will make the case that fine craftsmanship and design combined with a sincere approach to sustainability and ethics can elevate the value and meaning of luxury.
In addition there will be special discounts for sales on the night.
Friday 13 September 6.15 to 8pm
