As we celebrate 30 years of creativity at Cox & Power, we recognise that the relationships we’ve cultivated with artists, makers, and clients have been central to our journey. These connections have profoundly shaped our creative vision and inspired the creation of bespoke pieces that embody the shared magic of collaboration. Interwoven is our tribute to these invaluable relationships, honouring the creative energy and mutual inspiration that have driven our work and enriched our identity.
The focus on collaboration reflects the close bonds we’ve developed with the artists and makers we’ve worked with – bonds that have grown into lasting friendships and creative partnerships. Through this exhibition, we aim to celebrate these connections, highlighting how they have enriched our work and shaped our identity.
The featured designers and makers share our deep respect for craftsmanship, history, and heritage. They emphasise quality, meticulous detailing, and the transformative power of working with one’s hands. This exhibition underscores the importance of provenance, ethical values, and the pursuit of responsible and sustainable creation.
A sense of place plays a significant role in Interwoven, where familial inspiration, cultural heritage, and a deep reverence for natural landscapes shape both personal and collective memories. Through design inspiration, craft heritage, and the choice of materials, this exhibition is a celebration of the connection between maker and material, and between each piece and its origin.
